Oak Lea Hotel - Blackpool

We enjoyed our mini break at Oak Lea Hotel, mainly due to its fantastic location—only a short walk to attractions like the Blackpool Tower and Coral Island. The staff were friendly, and the room was spacious enough for our needs. the bathroom was in dire need of an upgrade, and the lack of amenities like proper Wi-Fi was frustrating. a decent stay, but improvements are necessary.

Had a real good time. We got very well decorated and a nice size family room with a view as an upgrade, nice gesture. The food they offered was outstanding, had a huge variety of meals.

I enjoyed the location, close to many attractions. The staff welcomed us nicely, and the place was clean. It was handy to drop off shopping before heading out to explore more.

One issue was the sound from adjacent rooms. I could hear conversations clearly. The room and furniture needed some updates as well.

Despite my room not being cleaned properly, with clothes left in the wardrobe and the bed not changed, I found the overall condition of the space acceptable. The view from my room wasn’t ideal, but I focused on the positive aspects of my visit.

We enjoyed visiting the local attractions and indulged in some nightlife. The hotel was conveniently located. The rooms were clean and well-kept. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately, one of our friends' rooms had no heating, pretty uncomfortable, especially at night.

The location makes it easy to explore nearby shops and attractions, a real plus for anyone looking to experience the area. The room layout offered ample space, catering well to families traveling together.

The state of the rooms fell below acceptable standards with several being cold due to poor heating. I noticed multiple issues like dust collecting on surfaces and mold in various corners-definitely not ideal, especially for sensitive guests. Bathroom facilities lacked a proper clean, with some missing essentials like a hairdryer and hot water availability being hit or miss. The check-in experience left much to be desired when rooms weren't ready and morning services like breakfast couldn't be provided due to low occupancy. It was like the place hasn't been maintained in quite some time.

Staying here, I enjoyed the close proximity to the winter gardens, just a short walk away, and the lively central pier, perfect for taking in fine seaside views. The room was comfortable and warm, made my evening relaxation good.

Can just recommend for a mini-break over the weekend.

Nothing it was perfect.

Had a lovely stay for 4 nights in a Standard Double Room, really enjoyed the quick hot water and regular room service. The bar area was a nice spot to chill, especially with the live entertainment on offer. Just a heads up, bring a long charger as there wasn't one near the bed, but overall, I had a fab time! 😊

Stayed at oak lea for a family trip. Location is great, close to shops and the beach. The staff service was really nice. It was good to have a room with easy access to local attractions nearby.

Perfect location, but room needs serious work!

We stayed here for 2 nights and the place had a great vibe with super friendly staff and a nice dining area. But wow, the room we got was pretty outdated and not very clean. It was noisy from the road, and the windows were a huge problem. Eating at the bar was enjoyable though!
